Cham was founded by Chef João Silva, a native of Santa Maria who dreamed of sharing the authentic tastes of Cape Verde with the world. After training in Lisbon and working in Michelin-starred kitchens, he returned home to open a restaurant that celebrates local ingredients and culinary heritage.
Today, Cham is a destination for travelers and locals alike – known for our warm hospitality, breathtaking ocean views, and dishes that honor generations of family recipes.
